About A New Way Recovery Residence
Meet the team and philosophy behind a sober living home dedicated to helping men build stability, accountability, and a foundation for lasting recovery.
Founder / Executive Director
Thomas Paska
I know firsthand how hard addiction can be – and how life-changing the right support can be. Like many, I struggled with substance use and reached a point where I needed structure, accountability, and a safe place to rebuild my life. Entering a recovery house became a turning point for me. It provided not just a roof over my head, but guidance, peer support, and a foundation for long-term sobriety.
Through recovery housing, I learned responsibility, routine, and the importance of community. With continued commitment to recovery, I was able to rebuild my life, my family relationships, and my future. Today, my goal is to provide others with the same opportunity I was given—a stable, supportive environment where people in recovery can grow, heal, and move forward with purpose.

At A New Way, Nancy focuses on creating policies and structure where men can safely rebuild routines and move towards independence at their own pace. Nancy believes deeply where you lay your head at night matters, and that people heal best in environments that are supportive, respectful and grounded in dignity.

With Purpose, Structure, and Steady Support
At A New Way Recovery Residence, our mission is rooted in the belief that recovery is strengthened through structure, accountability, and community. We provide a safe, substance-free living environment where men can focus on rebuilding routines, responsibility, and confidence during early recovery.
Our approach is grounded in clear expectations, respectful oversight, and peer support. We understand the challenges that come with transitioning from treatment back into everyday life, and we are committed to offering a stable home where residents can grow at their own pace while staying connected to sobriety.
We take pride in maintaining an environment that is supportive without being enabling, structured without being rigid, and focused on progress one day at a time. Our goal is to remain present and consistent as residents work toward independence, stability, and long-term recovery.
